As an R&D ULIP at HUL, you'll be embedded in cross-functional teams solving real product and technology challenges. Depending on your project, your work may involve: • Formulating and testing product prototypes in skincare, haircare, nutrition, or home care — balancing performance, safety, and cost. • Designing consumer-centric packaging that's more sustainable, functional, and visually disruptive — working closely with suppliers and design agencies. • Using digital tools like AI models and lab automation to speed up formulation cycles or simulate consumer reactions. • Deep-diving into consumer insights using technical panels or sensorial evaluations to fine-tune product experience. • Scaling lab innovations to pilot and full production — understanding how products behave in real manufacturing conditions.
