Objective: Accurate accounting, timely close activities, and statutory/management reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. The role supports month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and internal controls

Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Accounting & Close Activities
- Perform end-to-end accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in the ERP system
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and clear outstanding items on a timely basis
Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules as per applicable standards
- Assist in preparation of management reports, variance analysis, and Narrative
- Support consolidation and intercompany accounting activities
- Ensure reporting deadlines are met with high accuracy
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, SOX controls, and statutory requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
- Identify control gaps and support implementation of corrective actions
- Identify opportunities for process standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Supply chain and commercial teams across the locations and FSS Internal teams
- Respond to queries from auditors, controllers, and management in a timely manner
Job Requirement
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/finance; CA Inter / ICWA / MBA (Fin)
Experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivots, data analysis)
- Understanding of month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting cycles
Behavioral & Soft Skills

- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and coordination skills

Internal Customers: Other sub functions in FSS,HQ Finance, Zonal Finance, cross functional around manufacturing; logistics and procurement in zones and in HQ.
External Customers: Technical consultant around value creation; Auditors.
