Role Description The Hindi Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based at Urban International School in Hyderabad. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons aligned with the school curriculum, primarily for middle school learners, while also supporting other grades as needed. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching in the classroom, assessing student progress, maintaining records, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The role involves fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment, coordinating with colleagues and school leadership, and participating in staff meetings, parent interactions, and school events. The Hindi Teacher is expected to support holistic development by integrating language learning with co-curricular activities and promoting effective study habits and values among students.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching skills with experience in Hindi instruction and familiarity with CBSE or ICSE curriculum.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning materials for middle school learners.
- Demonstrated classroom management and student engagement skills in a school setting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or B.Ed is preferred.
- Comfort using educational technology and digital tools to support teaching and assessment.
- Commitment to holistic, student-centered learning and participation in co-curricular activities.
