Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced
IB Hindi Teacher to teach across the
Middle Years Programme (MYP) and
Diploma Programme (DP) (as applicable). The ideal candidate should be committed to inquiry-based learning and capable of developing strong language proficiency and critical thinking skills among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons aligned with IB MYP and DP frameworks
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
- Foster critical thinking, literary analysis, and cultural awareness
- Design inquiry-based and differentiated learning experiences
- Assess and monitor student progress using IB assessment criteria
- Prepare students for IB DP assessments (where applicable)
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate academic records
- Integrate ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills into classroom teaching
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary units
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Hindi or related field
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
- IB MYP/DP training or certification (preferred)
- Minimum 2–15 years of teaching experience (IB experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of IB pedagogy and assessment practices
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
