Role Overview:
Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented HIndi Language Editor / Proofreader to join our team. The candidate should have an excellent command of the HIndi language and enjoy ensuring written content is accurate, polished, and error-free.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proofread Hindi content for books, magazines, and other publications.
- Ensure accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and language.
- Identify and correct formatting, consistency, and layout-related errors.
- Work closely with the editorial and publications team to maintain high publishing standards.
- Support typesetting activities using Adobe InDesign (preferred but not mandatory).
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Excellent command of Hindi language.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for identifying errors and inconsistencies.
- Experience in proofreading, editing, publishing, journalism, education, or content review.
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is an added advantage and can be learned on the job.
- Passion for reading, language, and quality publishing.
