</div><div>Highway Signing is hiring Traffic Control Skilled Laborers to support roadway and construction projects throughout Iowa and Nebraska.<br><br>
</div><div>This position involves hands-on outdoor work, including traffic control setup, sign installation, equipment operation, and pavement marking support. Most work is local, and employees are home most nights, though occasional nights and weekend work may be required depending on project schedules.<br><br>

<strong>What You’ll Do</strong><br>• Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices<br>• Support roadway and construction projects in active work zones<br>• Operate trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment<br>• Install and maintain traffic signs and traffic control devices<br>• Assist with pavement marking operations as needed<br>• Complete daily documentation and reporting<br>• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors<br>• Work safely in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions<br><br>

<strong>What We’re Looking For</strong><br>• Construction, traffic control, or pavement marking experience preferred but not required<br>• Valid driver’s license required<br>• Ability to work nights and Saturdays as needed<br>• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors<br>• Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude<br>• Willingness to learn and grow within the company<br><br>

<strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br>• Experience operating message boards, arrow boards, or crash attenuators<br>• Familiarity with traffic control plans and roadway safety practices<br>• Mechanical aptitude and equipment experience are a plus<br><br>
