<div><strong>Objectives of this Role</strong></div><ul><li>Leading crews in shop and on the jobsite, ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently</li></ul><div><strong>Daily and Monthly Responsibilities</strong></div><ul>
<li>Oversee team members daily</li>
<li>Be available to answer phone calls on and away from job sites</li>
<li>Read plans and create a plan to complete the job efficiently</li>
<li>Review and coordinate project plans with team members and other documentation required for the project</li>
<li>Setting up the work zone using the appropriate safety standards</li>
<li>Controlling traffic</li>
<li>Breaking down and cleaning up the work zone upon completion of the operation</li>
<li>Operate equipment, including Forklifts, Skid Steer, Truck & Trailer combo</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
<li>Maintain and operate equipment</li>
<li>Responsible for quantity sheets</li>
</ul><div><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></div><ul>
<li>Ability to identify problems/issues, generate solutions and make sound decisions using standard procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, and dusty environments.</li>
<li>Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.</li>
<li>Report to work at the designated start time.</li>
<li>Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.</li>
<li>Be able to work overtime when required.</li>
<li>Must have strong work ethic</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team setting</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.</li>
<li>Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Must have a valid drivers license</li>
<li>Pass pre-employment drug screen.</li>
<li>Pass a pre-employment DOT physical.</li>
<li>Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co–workers or supervisors with other duties as required.</li>
<li>Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas.</li>
<li>Be at least age 18 years of age due to nature of working environment.</li>
</ul><div><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></div><ul>
<li>Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.</li>
<li>3+ years’ experience in the construction field or prior traffic control experience.</li>
