Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Ahmedabad for a Highway Design Engineer. The role involves designing highway and roadway infrastructure, developing drainage systems, and participating in transportation planning projects. The engineer will conduct analysis, prepare technical designs, adhere to regulatory requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and high-quality engineering solutions.
Qualifications
Qualification & Experience – Highway Design Engineer (Transportation / Traffic Engineering)
• Educational Qualification:
M.E. / M.Tech in Transportation Engineering / Traffic Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Experience:
Freshers to candidates with up to 3 years of relevant experience in highway/road design projects are eligible to apply.
• Technical Skills (Mandatory):
Proficiency in highway design and drafting using at least one of the following software:
AutoCAD Civil 3D / OpenRoads Designer / MX Road.
• Core Competencies:
• Basic understanding of highway geometric design principles as per IRC / MoRTH standards
• Exposure to preparation of plan, profile, cross-sections, and corridor modeling
• Familiarity with traffic engineering fundamentals and design inputs
• Ability to interpret survey data and assist in design development
• Additional Requirements:
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented design environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
