Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Highway BOQ Engineer / Quantity Surveyor with expertise in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and highway project costing. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of highway design methodology and relevant industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quantity estimations for highway and road projects based on design drawings and methodologies.
• Prepare, verify, and evaluate BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis for highway projects.
• Coordinate with clients and internal departments such as Traffic, Pavement, and Structures.
• Review highway geometric design, pavement design, and project deliverables.
• Verify project costs in DPR submissions and support project forecasting and planning.
• Attend technical discussions, client meetings, and project coordination sessions.
• Ensure compliance with QAP standards and project guidelines.
• Stay updated with MORTH, IRC, AASHTO, TRL, and BIS codes and guidelines.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Highway BOQ and Quantity Surveying
• Experience in Rate Analysis & Cost Estimation
• Understanding of Highway Design and DPR projects
• Client handling and project coordination skills
• Good communication and analytical skills
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
