<div>We are looking for a skilled, reliable baker with artisan bread experience to work in our Philadelphia kitchen one day per week.<br><br>This is a hands-on role for someone who takes full ownership of the baking process from start to finish and consistently produces high-quality results.<br><br>The focus is on creating bread with a soft, airy, slightly enriched-style texture, with a tender crumb, excellent structure, and consistent results.<br><br>⸻<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>* Prepare dough from scratch using established methods or guidance<br>* Manage mixing, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking<br>* Achieve consistent soft, airy, enriched-style texture and structure<br>* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace<br>* Manage timing and workflow for a 6–8 hour production day<br>* Take full responsibility for product quality<br><br>⸻<br><br>Requirements<br><br>* Prior bread baking experience (professional or strong home baking background)<br>* Strong understanding of dough behavior, fermentation, and texture development<br>* Ability to work independently and reliably<br>* Strong attention to detail and consistency<br>* Comfortable in a production-style kitchen<br><br>⸻<br><br>What We’re Looking For<br><br>Someone who understands dough by feel and knows how to consistently produce a soft, airy, enriched-style loaf with a tender crumb and reliable structure.
