High Voltage Electrical Commissioning Specialist (HV Switcher / Energy Marshal)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrical Commissioning Specialist, approved as a High Voltage Switcher (Energy Marshal), to support a major data centre construction project in Mumbai, India.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring the safe energisation, commissioning, and operational readiness of high voltage electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee high voltage (HV) switching operations in line with approved procedures and safety standards
- Act as the designated Energy Marshal / Authorised HV Switcher for site operations
- Support and lead HV commissioning activities, including testing, energisation, and system integration
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules, isolation procedures, and permit systems
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, commissioning teams, and client representatives
- Review and validate commissioning documentation, switching schedules, and risk assessments
- Provide technical input to resolve commissioning issues and ensure timely project delivery
- Support site safety culture, with strong focus on LOTO and energisation protocols
Key Requirements
- Approved / Authorised High Voltage Switcher (Energy Marshal or equivalent certification essential)
- Demonstrable experience in high voltage electrical commissioning on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of HV systems, switching procedures, and energisation protocols
- Experience working within strict safety and compliance environments
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience on data centre projects (preferred but not essential)
- Exposure to mission-critical environments or fast-track commissioning programmes
- Familiarity with international standards and best practices in HV commissioning
Project Details
- Location: Mumbai, India

- Duration: Minimum 12 months, with strong potential for long-term extension
- Start: Immediate / as soon as available
