Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site High School Mathematics Teacher role based in Chennai. The teacher will design and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons, including algebra, tailored to meet the needs of high school students. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, managing classroom activities, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment. Additionally, the role entails providing academic support and promoting a passion for mathematics among students.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mathematics and Algebra, with a solid foundation to teach at the high school level
- Experience in Lesson Planning that aligns with academic standards and promotes student engagement
- Proficiency in teaching Middle School and High School students with effective strategies and techniques
- Excellent Communication skills to clearly convey concepts and actively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents
- Proven ability to inspire academic curiosity and foster a positive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Knowledge of innovative, student-centered teaching methodologies
- Familiarity with integrating technology into teaching is an advantage
