Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a High School Economics Facilitator. The facilitator will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering an interactive and student-centered learning environment, and supporting students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills in economics. Responsibilities also include evaluating student progress, creating assessments, and contributing to curriculum planning, while actively participating in the school’s social advancement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in Economics and ability to teach and explain concepts effectively.
- Proficiency in designing lesson plans, creating engaging content, and utilizing innovative teaching methods.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative classroom environment.
- Experience in mentoring, guiding students, and an aptitude for encouraging critical thinking among young minds.
- Commitment to social impact and the organization's vision
- Prior experience in teaching at the high school level is preferred.
- A degree in Economics, Education, or a related subject area is required. A postgraduate qualification or teaching certification is an added advantage.
