Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a High School Commerce Teacher at Campus K School, located in Sholinganallur. The role involves planning and delivering engaging commerce subject lessons, creating interactive and dynamic learning experiences, and providing personalized support to students to help them achieve academic success. The candidate will also assess student progress, develop lesson plans according to curriculum standards, and collaborate with fellow educators to drive an innovative and motivating learning environment. Additionally, the role requires mentoring students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for commerce-related subjects.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Commerce-related subjects, including Accounting, Business Studies, and Economics
- Proven ability in curriculum planning, lesson delivery, and classroom management
- Effective communication and presentation skills to engage high school students
- Experience in using innovative and student-centered teaching methodologies
- Proficiency with educational technologies and digital tools for learning and assessment
- Adept at fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Education, or a related field (teaching certification is a plus)
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students toward academic and personal growth
- Previous teaching experience at the high school level is an advantage
