We are looking for a Healthcare HL7 / HIE Tester with 3–5 years of experience in the Healthcare industry to support testing activities across healthcare integration and interoperability platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in HL7 messaging, HIE architecture, healthcare workflows, and functional testing in clinical environments.
The candidate will be responsible for validating healthcare data exchange, testing integrations across multiple healthcare systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting end-to-end interoperability workflows in Agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, integration, and system testing in Healthcare interoperability environments.
- Validate HL7 messages, mappings, transformations, and routing across integrated healthcare systems.
- Work extensively on HIE Architecture components including Source Systems, Ensemble, HIE, Edges, Registry, BUS, HSPI, SAHI, Analytics, and Downstream systems.
- Validate end-to-end hospital workflows and healthcare business processes.
- Perform message normalization testing and data validation activities.
- Analyze and validate HL7 message types such as ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, and related workflows.
- Execute backend database validations using SQL queries.
- Validate clinical data using Clinical Viewer applications.
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Use Jira and Micro Focus ALM Octane for defect management and test execution tracking.
- Collaborate with development, integration, business, and support teams to resolve defects and ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support troubleshooting, production validation, and healthcare integration monitoring activities.
Required Skills
- Strong functional testing experience in Healthcare applications.
- Hands-on expertise in HL7 concepts, message types, and versions.
- Good understanding of Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) Architecture.
- Experience working with InterSystems Ensemble.
- Strong knowledge of hospital workflows and healthcare business processes.
- Experience with message normalization and interface validation.
- Strong SQL query writing and backend validation skills.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodology.
- Experience in API testing using Postman.
- Good analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Experience Required
