About the role

Purpose of the Job

The Production Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of production for permanent and semi permanent retail fixtures for Meta India. This role ensures that approved designs are translated into manufacturable, high quality, compliant retail fixtures that meet Client’s, global brand standards while aligning with Indian retailer requirements.

The position works closely with the Account Manager, Global Design Lead, Technical Buyer, HH Global operations teams, and approved suppliers to deliver cost effective, on time, and production ready outputs for rollout across India.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the production lifecycle of all approved MGFS fixtures, from final design approval through manufacturing readiness and bulk production.
  • Translate approved designs into production specifications, including materials, finishes, construction details, tolerances, and packaging requirements.
  • Lead supplier onboarding, factory briefings, feasibility reviews, and production planning in collaboration with sourcing and technical teams.
  • Manage prototyping, sampling, and pilot runs, ensuring fit-for-purpose manufacturing before scale production.
  • Ensure all fixtures comply with Client’s, quality, safety, durability, and sustainability standards, as well as local regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and control production timelines, costs, and risks, proactively addressing potential delays or quality issues.
  • Conduct quality reviews and audits across production stages, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Work closely with the Technical Buyer to align execution with the approved sourcing and cost strategy.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, including BOMs, quality checklists, approvals, and production reports.
  • Support clear and structured handover of production outputs to the Installation & Maintenance teams for successful rollout.
  • Provide regular production status updates to internal stakeholders and Client’s, ensuring transparency and confidence in delivery.

 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in production management, manufacturing, or technical delivery of POSM, retail fixtures, or display solutions.
  • Strong hands on experience managing manufacturing of permanent / semi permanent retail fixtures at scale.
  • In depth understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, finishes, and structural requirements for retail environments.
  • Proven experience working with Indian manufacturing suppliers, ideally within consumer electronics or large retail programs.
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple production workstreams simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail combined with a practical, solution oriented approach to production challenges.
  • Confident communicator, able to work cross functionally with design, procurement, account, and installation teams.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across global and local teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with experience using project tracking and reporting tools.
  • Experience operating under contracted environments, with strict SLAs, KPIs, and governance requirements.
  • Able to provide assurance to client and internal stakeholders on manufacturing quality, timelines, and risk mitigation.
