SEO Specialist (Relocation to Athens)

The SEO Specialist will play an important role in our marketing team to drive organic growth through SEO strategies. The role involves executing on-site and off-site SEO to boost high-quality traffic, working closely with the marketing team to enhance our digital presence.

Your role at HFM:

• Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve visibility across search engines.
• Conduct systematic keyword research to uncover new opportunities and collaborate with content teams to optimise content targeting.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the success of SEO efforts and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement link-building strategies, coordinating with content writers and outreaches to acquire high-quality backlinks.
• Perform competitive analysis to understand market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Audit technical SEO aspects of the website, including site performance, taxonomy, and structured data, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in developing and executing international SEO strategies, preferably with large-scale websites.
• Proficiency in identifying and resolving technical SEO errors, with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMRush.
• Excellent analytical skills and creative thinking, with a strategic and results-oriented approach to SEO.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English.
• A team player with a passion for supporting and collaborating with team members.
