We are currently seeking a Dental Insurance A/R Specialist to maximize cash flow while maintaining and improving inernal and external efficiencies and compliance.
This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.
Pay range: $19.00-$21.50/hr
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for revenue cycle functions, related computer systems, and workflows
- Communicate with teammates, whether via email, messaging, ticket system, phone, in-person, through the EMR, or other method, in a professional and respectful manner
- Identify trends and factors adversely affecting collections and communicate them to leadership
- Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience with general office work
- Experience with EMR/EHR
- Experience with insurance companies a plus
- Experience with dental revenue cycle a plus
- Experience with Medicaid billing a plus
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and other billing codes
