Heritage Palms has over 1000+ homes, serving a blended community of 55+ members. Heritage Palms prides itself in exceptional tailored customer service for each member. The Fitness attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operations of the fitness center within Heritage Palms. This role involves providing excellent customer service to residents, ensuring that the fitness equipment is properly maintained and supporting residents in their fitness routines.
- Scrape, rinse and rack dishes, glassware and silverware either by hand or with a commercial dishwasher using approved sanitation methods.
- Sort and put away dishes, glassware, silverware , returning to proper storage areas.
- Scrape, wash sanitize pots and pans and other cooking tools and materials and put away.
- Sweep and mop floors after meal periods, take out trash and recyclables and reline empty trash cans, clean work areas before leaving.
- Complete routine cleaning maintenance of kitchen equipment, supply areas, shelves, floor, floor sinks, walls and tables also “deep cleaning” following cleaning methods set by county and state health standards and Association’s procedures.
- Assist with food storage and inventory on occasion.
- On occasion assist with assembling of foods, dishes, utensils and supplies need for food preparation.
- Must wear clean uniform, keep hair covered with a net or cap and maintain acceptable personal hygiene standards.
- This position may be requested to perform tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year experience in a professional food production area which includes dishwashing.
- Knowledge of approved sanitation methods.
- Capable of working in a team concept environment.
- Moderate physical effort involving long periods of standing/walking climbing ladders and lifting moderately objects (25-50 lbs), exposure to various chemicals used in a commercial kitchen environment.
