What you will be doing
We are seeking a dedicated Life Enrichment Manager to enhance the quality of life for our residents through the development and leadership of a person-centered Life Enrichment program. This role focuses on creating engaging individual and group activities that support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being across all levels of ability. The Life Enrichment Manager collaborates closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure programs reflect residents’ interests, routines, and care plans while meeting all regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and creative, with experience coordinating activities, supervising staff and volunteers, and documenting assessments and outcomes. Responsibilities include facilitating resident councils, organizing community and special events (including evenings and weekends), maintaining accurate records, ensuring resident safety, and serving as a liaison between the Life Enrichment team and leadership. About you
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Occupational Therapy or Certification as an Activities Director.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in activities, with at least 1 year in a healthcare setting.
