Herff Jones is the leading provider of graduation and educational products and services designed to inspire achievement and create memorable experiences for students. They are seeking a Data Analyst /Business Intelligence Analyst to create and manage reporting systems, extract and manage data metrics, and ensure data accuracy across various departments.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Data Analyst /Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the creation, management, and training of our reporting systems.
This role will be extracting and managing data metrics for the business, while also building out and structuring core business files in a digital cloud setting.
In this role, you will be working with various departments to ensure the data is correct.
It will take a strong focus on owning the data management for all operations of the business, as well as tracking and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of the business's metrics.
A balance of priorities will be key to operating successfully in the role.
Learn the core processes for the business as well as the manufacturing organization (high level overview).
Learn and take over daily reporting of metrics and the reporting of this across multiple teams.
Learn to extract and analyze data from our multiple data management programs.
Partner with senior leaders in the business to build a balanced scorecard and compile / organize the necessary data to support it.
Serve as the primary points of contact for all business data request.
Act in a supporting role with the respective staff to ensure quality data is being passed along to the business.
Understand and be able to properly work through our business systems as well as with our contractors and DBA's to pull the correct data.
Manage all data requests and serve as a SME for our data management system(s).
Understand and be able to properly develop reporting of business data, manage all data systems, and can utilize all of them into a seamless report out for business units.
Working with the business to extract and analyze data, they will use for their daily jobs.
Update our data dashboards and files.
Manage orders coming in from outside customer.
Manage the data tables to ensure correct information is being presented to the business.
