Overview
The Helper - Production plays a vital role in supporting the manufacturing process by assisting various teams on the production floor. The primary objective of this position is to ensure smooth operations, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and contribute to the overall efficiency of production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of products as per specifications and quality standards.
- Support machine operators in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area to adhere to safety and quality procedures.
- Handle materials and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring that supplies are replenished as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets and deadlines.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to production processes.
- Report maintenance needs or safety concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of production and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with assembly techniques and tools (hand tools, power tools, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics is a plus.
- Proficiency in basic math and measurement skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred, but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Skills & Experience
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring quality work and adherence to specifications.
- Ability to lift and transport materials up to a specified weight limit.
- Good communication skills to facilitate collaboration with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to production and assembly tasks.
