Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through rigorous testing and validation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and experience in both manual and automated testing. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications. Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and issues. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and tools. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with manual testing and familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Working knowledge of at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) for test automation. Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
