Overview of Responsibilities: The CSD / IDG Technician is responsible for the disassembly, inspect,
repair, and overhaul, modifications and reassembly of CSD / IDG components. Technicians perform
routine, non-routine and preventative maintenance on all parts of the aircraft according to Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) and Silver Wings Aerospace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Perform work assignments as determined by the shop management.
* Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, to customer
supplications and regulatory requirements.
* Uses appropriate inspection techniques, and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being
accomplished.
* Utilizes the proper test equipment or suitable alternative and perform s preventative as needed.
* Records information and accomplishes the work assignment in compliance with the Inspection
Procedures Manual and Quality Policies and Procedures.
* Provide timely quotes of units.
* Maintain personal and shop calibrated tools is satisfactory operational condition.
* Comply with all safety directive and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
* Other duties may be assigned.

* Must be able to provide your own tools.
* Must be capable of using standard tools to include, but not limited to; screwdrivers, wrenches,
ratchets and sockets, torque drivers and wrenches, multi-meters, soldering irons, micrometers,
calipers, bore gauges, flow meters, psi gauges, temperature measurement, safety wire pliers, or
any other tool required for a particular maintenance function.
* Experience in aircraft manufacturing, installation, and repair/overhaul of aircraft components.
Familiar with aircraft specifications as applied to final and in-process inspections.
* Working knowledge of Federal Aircraft Regulations (FAR).
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, Standard Repair Manuals (SRM), &
component maintenance manuals (CMM).
