Researcher for Shoe Testing and Biomechanics Lab

Footwear brands want to make the best shoes. To do this, they need access to shoe testing data during the development of new styles to improve and optimize their comfort, fit, and performance. Heeluxe provides Footwear Brands with accurate and timely data gathered by a team of committed professionals, that's easy to access, understand and implement. The Research Assistant position is critical for the optimal operation of day-to-day testing. They will learn and operate basic data collection for each of Heeluxe's 5 testing silos and within 3 months will focus their work on one research silo. They collaborate with the other members of the research team, interact with human test participants, and analyze collected data with Excel and Python programs. The ideal candidate for the Research Assistant position combines a passion for research and footwear with an innate curiosity that drives them to continuously improve themselves and those around them. Being a team player with excellent communication skills and a growth mindset are critical for this role.
