Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Jagdalpur. The technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in industrial and commercial environments, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing scheduled and preventive maintenance, checking electrical and plumbing connections related to HVAC units, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role involves working with other technical staff and project teams, documenting work performed, and communicating clearly with supervisors and clients about equipment status and required repairs.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving HVAC system issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of plumbing related to HVAC systems, including piping, drainage, and connections.
- Experience with preventive maintenance practices to ensure reliable and safe operation of heating and air conditioning equipment.
- Understanding of EPA-related guidelines and environmental regulations relevant to refrigerants and industrial HVAC work.
- Practical knowledge of electricity, including reading electrical diagrams and working safely with electrical components.
- Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or vocational training in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields.
- Awareness of industrial safety standards and the ability to follow safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
- Ability to work on-site in Jagdalpur, manage physical tasks, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial HVAC settings is preferred but not mandatory.
