Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician role based in Mahabubnagar. The technician will perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including chillers and VRF/VRV units, following safety and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, conducting preventive maintenance, replacing faulty components, and ensuring optimal system performance. The role involves documenting work performed, maintaining service records, and communicating findings and recommendations clearly to supervisors and customers. The technician will also support customer training and guidance, contribute to continuous improvement of service procedures, and collaborate with the academy’s trainers and technical team.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems, including ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, chiller, and VRF/VRV equipment.
- Knowledge and practice of preventive maintenance, including routine inspections, cleaning, adjustments, and performance checks.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction, with clear communication and a professional, service-oriented approach.
- Understanding of EPA and relevant environmental and safety regulations; possession of applicable HVAC/EPA certifications is an advantage.
- Technical diploma, certificate, or equivalent training in HVAC or refrigeration; prior field experience as an HVAC technician is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
- Physical ability to work on-site, including lifting equipment, working at heights, and operating tools safely.
- Basic computer skills for service reporting and use of diagnostic tools; willingness to participate in ongoing training.
