Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Design Engineer located in Pune Division. The role involves designing, planning, and implementing HVAC systems, conducting calculations and analysis for system efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with plumbing and mechanical systems. You will be responsible for drafting detailed technical drawings, evaluating project specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The engineer will also be involved in troubleshooting, optimizing existing systems, and ensuring design performance meets regulatory and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant professional experience in HVAC design / execution
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and HVAC system concepts
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Experience in system calculations and performance analysis
- Familiarity with plumbing system integration within MEP projects
- Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High attention to detail
