Technical Manager / SME – Real Property Asset Documentation Support Position
Title: Technical Manager / Subject Matter Expert – Real Property Asset Documentation
Reports To: Program Manager
Location: Primarily desk-side / remote from the Contractor's office or home office (CONUS including Alaska, Hawaii, and outlying areas); occasional on-site support at DoD installations. OCONUS travel is highly unusual and only as required by individual task orders.
Clearance: Favorable NACI (minimum); ability to obtain installation access/CAC as needed.
Purpose / Customer Benefit: Produces complete, compliant hard-copy and electronic asset records and folders that satisfy audit requirements and support accurate facility accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain hard-copy or electronic documentation required for Real Property asset records/folders (DD1354s, Memorandums for Record, Attestation Memos, Asset Photos, etc.).
- Ensure documentation aligns with electronic records in RP IT systems.
- Perform quality reviews of existing asset folders and recommend updates.
- Coordinate with Government staff to obtain source documents and validate completeness.
- As Technical Manager: Establish documentation standards and review work products of junior staff for compliance and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Records Management, Real Property, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience preparing or managing Real Property asset documentation (DD1354s, MFRs, etc.) for DoD or Federal customers.
- Familiarity with DoD Real Property systems and audit documentation requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and document control skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat for electronic folder assembly.
- Must maintain IAT Level I and favorable NACI.
Success Metrics:
- All asset documentation packages accepted on first submission.
- Zero findings related to incomplete or inaccurate asset folders in audits.
