Description

The Human Capital Generalist (Field Operations) serves as a strategic partner to site leadership, while supporting alignment and consistency across all markets. Reporting to the Sr. Corporate Manager, Human Capital, this role is field-facing HC execution, provides advanced manager coaching, and helps to standardized practices across multi-state operations.

 

 The position requires a strong field presence and the ability to travel to clinics, markets, and industry events as needed. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Serve as the primary Human Capital partner for an assigned state, with the ability to support and step into other markets as needed to ensure continuity and alignment.
  • Participate as an active member of the Human Capital Acquisitions team, supporting due diligence, employee assessments, risk identification, and ensuring a smooth, compliant, and positive employee transition experience during integrations.
  • Partner closely with the Human Capital Leadership to execute HC strategy, ensuring consistent implementation of policies, processes, and standards across all markets.
  • Collaborate with HC peers at the corporate level those assigned to other regions to drive alignment, share best practices, and ensure consistency, while providing appropriate oversight and audit support to validate adherence to company standards.
  • Support cross-market visibility and accountability by identifying inconsistencies in execution, documentation, or compliance, and partnering with HC and operations leadership to address gaps.
  • Participate and support manager training and development initiatives, ensuring policies are consistently understood and executed across markets.
  • Assist with employee relations investigations, ensuring timely, consistent, and compliant outcomes aligned with company standards.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with strong working knowledge across multi-state environments, including high-risk states.
  • Support and participate in HR audits across markets, including timekeeping, leave administration, documentation, and wage and hour practices, ensuring adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen relationships between site leadership and Human Capital, proactively addressing communication gaps and improving trust and partnership.
  • Act as a cross-functional connector between Human Capital, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
  • Participate in Human Capital reporting within assigned scope, while contributing to broader multi-state reporting, including turnover, LOA activity, employee relations trends, and compliance metrics.
  • Support employee engagement and culture initiatives, reinforcing company values through consistent leadership practices and accountability.
  • Maintain a strong field presence, including travel to local clinics and partner alongside HC leadership in real-time environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or a combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Capital / HR experience, including multi-state support
  • Strong experience in employee relations, investigations, and performance management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including high-risk states (e.g., CA, MA, AZ)
  • Experience supporting multi-site, field-based operations (healthcare or similar environment preferred)
  • Proven ability to coach and influence managers and site leadership across varying levels
  • Experience participating in or supporting M&A due diligence and employee integrations (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of HR audits, compliance practices, and risk mitigation
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across markets and work in field environments
  • Active SHRM or PHR certification
  • Experience in high-growth, multi-state, or acquisition-heavy organizations (preferred)
  • Experience building or delivering manager training and leadership development programs
