About the role

Description

The Central Valley Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for two of our central valley outpatient clinics. This role ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while driving operational efficiency and standardized clinical workflows across both locations.

 

This role partners closely with providers, clinic staff, and administrative leadership to support clinical quality, maintain regulatory compliance, strengthen team engagement, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across all assigned clinics.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that improve patient outcomes, operational performance, and care delivery.
  • Oversee implementation and management of quality improvement programs, and other regulatory benchmarks.
  • Manage portfolio MAs, and front office staff to foster a high-functioning, team-based environment throughout various clinics.
  • Direct daily operations of outpatient clinics, including integrated services.
  • Manage clinic schedules, payroll, supply ordering, and Clinic coverage.
  • Monitor operational workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency and service improvement.
  • Serve as the compliance liaison, ensuring readiness for audits, inspections, and regulatory adherence. (OSHA, Compliance)
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and equipment needs in collaboration with internal/external vendors.
  • Lead efforts to optimize the patient’s experience through data monitoring, service recovery, and staff coaching.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety and continuous improvement, using data to identify and address trends.
  • Interview/Leadership, onboard, develop, and retain staff through coaching, performance feedback, and recognition.
  • Provide training and support for staff across clinical and administrative roles, maintaining readiness to backfill staff positions as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Medical Assistant Certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a medical assistant, with at least 2 years in a lead MA or clinical leadership position in a physician practice required
  • Spanish speaking (preferred)
  • Knowledgeable in value base care metrics
  • Front office administrative duties, knowledgeable on insurances, copay and collections
  • Oversight of all clinic logs-medications and samples that are being held in clinics.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and staff development skills
  • Ability to manage complex clinical operations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) (Athena experience highly preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clinic locations
  • Prolonged standing, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
