Healthy Connections, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Finance Assistant II to support our Accounting Department with accounts payable and financial operations. This is a security‑sensitive position reporting directly to the Accounting Manager.
Schedule:
✅ Full‑time, Monday through Thursday
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Processing accurate and timely accounts payable for credit/purchasing card and vendor invoices
- Reconciling purchasing card statements and resolving discrepancies
- Entering and coding invoices in accordance with GAAP and organizational fiscal policies
- Supporting cash management transactions and the 340B program
- Assisting with month‑end close activities
- Cross‑training to serve as a backup for other finance team members
- Maintaining detailed desk manuals and process documentation
- Supporting Healthy Connections’ mission, compliance standards, and confidentiality requirements
Collaboration & Team Support:
- Participating in organizational meetings and initiatives
- Supporting Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Meaningful Use, and related programs
- Building collaborative relationships across departments
- Serving as a peer mentor for new employees when requested
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with corporate compliance policies
