Sr Release Engineer

As a Sr Release Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software applications on time and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient software deployments, and will be responsible for automating and optimizing the release management process. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement release management processes and tools to support the deployment of complex software applications - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless software deployments - Automate and optimize the release management process to improve efficiency and reduce risk - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software deployments - Continuously monitor and improve the release management process - Mentor and train junior team members on best practices in release engineering Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in release engineering or a similar role - Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell - Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Subversion, or Perforce - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
