Note: we are unable to hire in every state Summary: The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) plays a crucial role in the software development lifecycle by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites. An SDET will work closely with other members of agile delivery teams (Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Data Integration Engineers, etc.) to identify test requirements, create test plans, and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of our software applications. Key Responsibilities: "To simplify complexities for each customer." Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using industry-standard tools and technologies. Collaborate with software engineers, test engineers, and business systems analysts to define test requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases that effectively validate software functionality, performance, and scalability. Execute automated and manual tests, analyze test results, and identify and report defects in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings to provide input on testability, quality, and performance considerations. Continuously improve our test processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability. Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in software testing, test automation, and quality assurance.
