Role Description The Healthcare Verification Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This role is responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility with providers and payers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing documentation, updating internal systems, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams. The specialist will handle inbound and outbound communication, respond to verification-related queries, and provide clear, professional customer service. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, following standard operating procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement in verification workflows and service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Insurance Verification and Formal Verification skills, with experience in healthcare or insurance processes.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for interacting with patients, providers, and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for reviewing documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, or claims processing is beneficial.
- Familiarity with insurance portals, healthcare terminology, and basic compliance standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, manage time effectively, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a degree in commerce, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
