Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Healthcare Specialist at BARAKAH Maritime & Trading Agency. The Healthcare Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of crew members by providing medical guidance, aiding in medical emergencies, and coordinating healthcare services. The role includes educating and training crew members on health protocols, maintaining compliance with medical standards, and ensuring access to necessary medical resources and supplies. Collaboration with multiple departments to ensure effective crew management and medical readiness is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in EMT and general medicine for addressing medical needs and emergencies effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with crew members, stakeholders, and healthcare providers.
- Experience in training and educating individuals on healthcare practices and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of healthcare management practices suited for remote or maritime contexts.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with availability for collaboration across different time zones.
- Relevant certifications or licensure in healthcare or EMT fields are highly desirable.
