Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Healthcare Specialist to join our team at IIT Palakkad. The role is on-site, located in Thrissur, Kerala. The Healthcare Specialist will oversee and deliver first aid and emergency medical support, provide healthcare training sessions as needed, assist in maintaining medical records, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the health and well-being of the institute community. Administrative responsibilities related to healthcare services may also form part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in providing Emergency Medical Treatment (EMT) and strong foundational knowledge in Medicine
- Effective Communication skills to assist in patient interactions, consultations, and teamwork
- Experience in Training and delivering healthcare education or first aid sessions
- Familiarity with general Healthcare operations and processes
- Ability to work proactively in a dynamic and diverse on-site environment
- Relevant certification or degree in medical sciences, nursing, or related fields
- Experience working in an educational or institutional setting is an advantage
