Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Healthcare Specialist role located in Kozhikode. The Healthcare Specialist will oversee student health and safety by administering first aid and emergency medical treatment, collaborating with staff to address health concerns, and promoting health education. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate health records, monitoring students with medical needs, and ensuring the school maintains a safe environment. The role requires clear and effective communication with students, parents, and staff to provide health updates and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Emergency Medical Treatment (EMT) and practical healthcare knowledge
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff
- Familiarity with medical and healthcare protocols applicable to a school environment
- Experience in training staff or students in health and safety practices
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- A degree or certification in Healthcare, Medicine, or a related field
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric care is a plus
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to health and well-being
