Role DescriptionThe Technology Services Specialist/IT Service Consultant/IT Enablement Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality IT services and enabling technology adoption across the organization. This role focuses on understanding business needs, providing expert guidance on IT solutions, and ensuring seamless service delivery to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong customer service skills, bridging the gap between IT capabilities and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- IT Service Delivery & SupportProvide end-to-end IT service support, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor and manage IT service performance, including incident, problem, and request management.
- Maintain service documentation, including knowledge articles and standard operating procedures.
- Technology Enablement & ConsultationCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend IT solutions.
- Support the rollout of new software, systems, and technology initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enable teams to utilize IT tools effectively.
- Process Optimization & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to streamline IT service processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices and service frameworks (e.g., ITIL) to enhance service quality.
- Collect feedback and analyze service metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder ManagementServe as a liaison between IT teams and business units to ensure alignment on priorities.
- Support IT projects by providing domain expertise and facilitating adoption.
- Build strong relationships with end-users to proactively address technology needs.
- Reporting & ComplianceMaintain accurate records of IT services, incidents, and changes.
- Assist in reporting on IT service performance, metrics, and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT service management, IT consulting, or technology enablement roles.
- Strong understanding of IT service delivery frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and best practices.
- Proficiency with IT systems, software tools, and enterprise platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified Professional, or ServiceNow Administrator are a plus.
