Type: Internship
Team: Content / Brand / Strategy
Company: PRVNT
About the role
We are looking for a sharp, curious, and execution-oriented intern to support one of our wellness media projects, Wellness Economy — a platform focused on tracking and translating what is happening across preventive health, longevity, wellness, performance, diagnostics, healthcare innovation, and the business of modern wellbeing.
This role sits at the intersection of research, content, media, and culture. You will help us identify emerging trends in healthcare and wellness, turn those insights into social-first content, and support the growth of a thoughtful, high-quality wellness news brand similar in spirit to platforms like Fitt Insider.
This is a strong fit for someone who follows health and wellness closely, understands internet culture and social media, and can turn information into clear, engaging content. An interest in design and visual storytelling is a major advantage.
What you will do
- Research current and emerging trends across healthcare, wellness, longevity, fitness, diagnostics, digital health, and consumer health brands
- Track relevant news, launches, reports, founders, brands, products, and market shifts
- Convert research into content ideas, post angles, weekly summaries, trend notes, and short-form insights
- Help manage and grow the social presence of Wellness Economy
- Write captions, hooks, carousels, short posts, and newsletter-style content
- Assist with content planning and editorial calendars
- Support founder/brand-led storytelling across social platforms
- Help identify what topics are culturally relevant versus what is just noise
- Maintain internal research documents and content pipelines
- Coordinate with the PRVNT team on content priorities, themes, and publishing schedules
What we are looking for
- Strong interest in healthcare, wellness, preventive health, longevity, fitness, and culture
- Strong research skills with the ability to find, synthesize, and summarize information quickly
- Good understanding of social media formats and what performs across platforms
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to think clearly, spot patterns, and identify what matters
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Taste in content — you should know the difference between low-quality trend-chasing and credible, well-positioned media
Bonus if you can
- Create basic designs, carousels, or visual assets for social media
- Use Canva, Figma, or similar tools
- Edit short-form video or reels
- Turn research into polished visual storytelling
- Bring content ideas, not just execute instructions
Ideal candidate
You are someone who is online in the right way — you follow what is happening in wellness, healthcare, longevity, and modern consumer health. You enjoy spotting shifts early, reading deeply, and turning insights into content people actually want to read and share. You are both analytical and creative.
You will stand out if
- You already follow health and wellness media, founders, and brands closely
- You have a strong eye for content, design, and brand voice
- You can write clearly and make complex ideas feel simple and relevant
- You have samples of social posts, research notes, newsletters, or content/design work
Internship outcomes
By the end of this internship, you will have worked directly on a live wellness media project, built experience in healthcare trend research, content strategy, and social media execution, and contributed to shaping a modern health and wellness brand and potentially join/work with us full-time!
