Healthcare Recruiter – Homecare Nurse Hiring
Job Purpose
The Healthcare Recruiter – Homecare Nurse Hiring is responsible for end‑to‑end recruitment of qualified nurses for homecare and community‑based healthcare roles. The role focuses on sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing nurse positions within defined timelines while ensuring quality, compliance, and a consistent candidate experience.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesTalent Sourcing
- Source qualified GNM / B.Sc / Post Basic Nurses through multiple channels including job portals, social media, referrals, databases, and nursing institutions.
- Use proactive sourcing techniques to identify and engage suitable nursing profiles.
- Build and maintain a steady pipeline of nurses to meet ongoing hiring requirements.
Screening & Shortlisting
- Screen resumes for educational qualifications, clinical experience, and role suitability.
- Conduct initial telephonic or virtual interviews to assess:
- Clinical background and experience
- Interest in homecare roles
- Shift and location readiness
- Verify State Nursing Council registration and essential documents during screening.
Interview Coordination & Hiring Closure
- Coordinate interview schedules and manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Follow up on interview feedback and ensure timely movement of candidates through stages.
- Support offer communication and hiring closure within approved guidelines.
- Ensure joining confirmations to meet defined hiring targets.
Target & Performance Management
- Achieve assigned weekly and monthly hiring targets for homecare nurse positions.
- Monitor pipeline health to reduce ageing and drop‑offs.
- Track offer acceptance and joining ratios and take corrective action where needed.
Recruitment Systems & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of nurse documentation prior to joining.
- Update hiring trackers and recruitment status reports as required.
Candidate Experience
- Provide a professional, transparent, and responsive experience to candidates across all recruitment stages.
- Maintain timely communication regarding interview outcomes and next steps.
- Build long‑term engagement with nursing candidates for repeat and future hiring needs.
Market Awareness & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about homecare nurse availability, salary trends, and market dynamics.
- Continuously review sourcing effectiveness and recommend improvements to recruitment processes.
- Adhere to recruitment guidelines, ethical hiring standards, and compliance requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Experience in nursing or healthcare recruitment preferred.
- Strong sourcing, screening, and hiring closure skills.
- Working knowledge of nursing qualifications and regulatory requirements in India.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow‑up ability.
- Ability to work in a target‑driven and fast‑paced recruitment environment.
