Position Overview
We are seeking a data-driven, analytical, and highly curious Healthcare Market Research Intern to join our growth and strategy team. In this role, you will dive deep into the global digital health ecosystem, mapping out the competitive landscape, identifying emerging clinical AI trends, and finding new market opportunities for our annotation and segmentation services.This is a strong fit for someone curious about the intersection of medical imaging, AI/ML, and healthcare commercialization — a rare chance to learn how the SaMD and clinical-AI market actually works from the inside.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Trend Analysis: Research and track global industry trends, regulatory shifts, and the adoption of digital tools by enterprise clients and target accounts.
- Lead Generation & Mapping: Identify, profile, and map potential clients.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market competitors, analyzing their product features, pricing strategies, and overall market positioning.
- Regulatory & Industry Monitoring: Track relevant compliance standards, government clearances, and industry regulations to summarize key impacts for internal stakeholders.
- Event & Conference Intelligence: Source and enrich exhibitor and attendee lists for key industry events, cross-referencing them against ideal customer profiles .
- Domain-Specific Research: Conduct targeted deep-dives into specialized verticals, market niches, or technical domains as required.
- Data Synthesis: Translate complex market data, regulatory filings, and industry reports into clear, actionable insights, presentations, and spreadsheets for the executive team.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Allied health sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Research Acumen: Strong secondary research skills with the ability to navigate databases, industry reports, regulatory registries, and scientific literature.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for organizing data and creating basic market models.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build clean, concise PowerPoint/Google Slides decks that tell a story with data.
- Interest in AI: A genuine fascination with how artificial intelligence and machine learning are transforming healthcare and clinical workflows.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Basic familiarity with medical imaging modalities.
- Understanding of the B2B SaaS business model or the lifecycle of medical AI software development.
- Prior internship experience in market research, consulting, or a healthcare startup environment.
