Role: Healthcare & Life Sciences Data Engineer / Bioinformatics Analyst | Hyderabad (Hybrid)

We are looking for highly skilled and passionate professionals with experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Precision Medicine, Oncology, and Clinical Data Analytics to join our growing team in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with healthcare, oncology, translational medicine, and real-world evidence datasets.
- Process and analyze structured and unstructured healthcare data.
- Handle genomic and molecular datasets including variants, genes, transcripts, biomarkers, panels, assays, and sequencing outputs.
- Support integration and processing of clinical and laboratory data.
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for healthcare and life sciences platforms.
- Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, product teams, and AI/ML teams.
- Work with healthcare interoperability and clinical data standards.
- Contribute to data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance initiatives.
- Support analytical workflows involving patient stratification, biomarkers, treatment outcomes, and survival analysis.
- Participate in development of modern healthcare analytics and AI-driven platforms.
Required Skills and Exprience :
- Strong understanding of healthcare, bioinformatics, translational medicine, and real-world evidence domains.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Spark, ETL pipelines, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience in diagnostics, precision medicine, oncology, or liquid biopsy environments preferred.
- Understanding of genomics and molecular data concepts, including variants, genes, transcripts, biomarkers, panels, assays, and sequencing outputs.
- Familiarity with common bioinformatics file and data formats, including FASTQ, BAM/CRAM, VCF, BED, GTF/GFF, TSV/CSV, Parquet, and JSON.
- Awareness of NGS pipelines, variant calling, variant annotation, QC metrics, and downstream analytical workflows.
- Basic understanding of liquid biopsy concepts, including ctDNA, cfDNA, tumor fraction, variant allele frequency, minimal residual disease, and early cancer detection.
- Knowledge of assay, sample, run, batch, and patient metadata used in diagnostic workflows.
- Experience or familiarity with real-world data sources, including EHR/EMR, claims, labs, pathology, registry data, clinical notes, and longitudinal patient records.
- Understanding of sensitive health data, PHI/PII handling, consent, de-identification, pseudonymization, lineage, access control, and audit logging.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Healthcare, Pharma, Clinical Research, Diagnostics, or Life Sciences organizations.
- Exposure to oncology or cancer genomics programs is highly preferred.
- Experience with modern cloud-native data platforms and AI-driven solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
