Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Data Analytics Trainer to design, develop, and deliver structured training programs in the healthcare analytics domain. The selected candidate will be responsible not only for conducting engaging training sessions but also for creating high-quality course materials, presentations, case studies, assignments, and hands-on learning modules aligned with current industry standards.
The role requires flexibility to travel across various cities in India for on-site classroom training sessions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive curriculum content for Healthcare Data Analytics programs.
- Create high-quality training materials including presentations, learning modules, assignments, and case studies.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions (both online and classroom-based).
- Travel to different cities across India for on-site training delivery when required.
- Cover the following topics in depth:
- Types and characteristics of healthcare data
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Electronic Health Records (EHR): data schema and representation
- Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), including:
- Clinical Information Systems (CIS)
- Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Decision Support Systems (DSS)
- EMR Systems
- Health Information Exchange (HIE)
- Telehealth Systems
- Fundamentals of health statistics
- Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) in healthcare
- Descriptive and predictive analytics in healthcare use cases
- Data ownership and emerging governance models in healthcare
- Conduct practical demonstrations using real-world healthcare datasets.
- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and capstone projects.
- Provide mentorship and support to participants for doubt resolution.
- Submit post-training reports and feedback after each batch.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in healthcare analytics, health IT, or health information systems.
- Strong understanding of EMR/EHR systems and healthcare data workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, and/or SQL for data analysis.
- Experience using visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Prior corporate training or teaching experience is preferred.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong curriculum development and content structuring skills.
- Expertise in creating high-impact presentation decks (PPT development, storytelling, visual explanation).
- Ability to simplify complex healthcare analytics concepts for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across cities for training assignments.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, and ICD coding systems.
- Experience working with hospitals, healthcare IT organizations, or health-tech startups.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance frameworks and governance models.
