Healthcare AI Business & Clinical Operations Lead
📍 Work Mode: Work from Office

About the Role
PhysicsWallah (PW) is building a next-generation Healthcare Data Lab focused on creating, sourcing, validating, and commercializing high-quality medical datasets for healthcare AI, health-tech, diagnostics, life sciences, clinical decision-support systems, and related industries.
We are looking for a highly driven Doctor – Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to help build this vertical from scratch. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to work at the intersection of medicine, AI, healthcare data, business development, partnerships, and operations.
This is not a traditional clinical role. The ideal candidate should be medically sound, entrepreneurial, commercially sharp, and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Building
- Convert healthcare AI opportunities into scalable dataset products and services.
- Support business model creation, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Build workflows for data sourcing, annotation, validation, quality assurance, and delivery.
2. Client Development
- Identify and engage clients requiring medical datasets or clinical validation services.
- Present PW’s healthcare data capabilities to AI companies, health-tech startups, diagnostic chains, hospitals, medtech firms, pharma/life-sciences organizations, and research institutions.
- Translate client requirements into executable project scopes and deliverables.
3. Healthcare & Data Partnerships
- Build partnerships with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic labs, radiology/pathology centers, medical colleges, doctors, and healthcare platforms.
- Evaluate healthcare datasets for quality, clinical relevance, scale, and usability.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, business, and operations teams to establish data-sharing partnerships.
4. Medical Validation & Quality Control
- Define clinical quality standards for healthcare datasets.
- Review datasets for accuracy, completeness, bias, usability, and relevance.
- Create annotation guidelines, validation rubrics, and quality-control SOPs.
- Ensure final datasets are clinically meaningful and aligned with client expectations.
5. Clinical Ideation & Internal Guidance
- Identify new use cases around:
- Clinical reasoning
- Doctor-patient conversations
- Prescriptions & OPD workflows
- Radiology & pathology
- Disease-specific datasets
- Specialist-reviewed healthcare datasets
- Guide product, tech, operations, compliance, and business teams on clinical context.
- Train internal teams on medical data handling, annotation, and validation workflows.
- Build and manage a network of medical reviewers and specialists.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS, BDS, or higher medical qualification.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare systems.
- Interest in AI, healthcare data, digital health, health-tech, or medical technology.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with doctors, hospitals, founders, clients, and internal teams.
- Comfortable with business development, partnerships, negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to build systems from scratch.
- Willingness to work full-time from office.

- Exposure to healthcare AI, medical datasets, or health-tech startups.
- Understanding of medical annotation, validation, or healthcare operations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capability.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across business, tech, product, legal, and operations teams.
