Role Description The Health Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This role focuses on promoting health and safety within a Food and Beverages environment, including monitoring employee health, conducting routine health assessments, and supporting occupational health initiatives. The Health Specialist will develop and implement health promotion programs, provide guidance on preventive care, and collaborate with management to ensure compliance with health standards and regulations. Daily responsibilities include coordinating health-related training, responding to health concerns, maintaining accurate health records, and working with internal teams to improve overall well-being across the workforce.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health practices and workplace health standards.
- Background in Medicine or clinical health services, with the ability to conduct basic health assessments.
- Experience in Health Promotion, including designing and delivering wellness programs.
- Relevant degree or diploma in public health, occupational health, nursing, medicine, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret and apply health regulations and organizational policies.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to maintain confidential health records.
- Experience in the Food and Beverages or industrial sector is an advantage.
