Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health Safety Environment (HSE) Officer based in Delhi, India. The HSE Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Daily tasks include conducting risk assessments, ensuring workplace safety, overseeing occupational health practices, and providing necessary training regarding safety protocols. The role involves identifying potential hazards, monitoring compliance, and fostering a culture of safety across operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety practices
- Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health regulations
- Certification in NEBOSH or related safety certifications
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address safety concerns effectively
- Ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and deliver safety workshops
- Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field is preferred
