Role : - HSE Officer
Location : - MP/Gujarat/Rajasthan/ Maharashtra
Experience:
- 4–7 years of experience in HSE functions at industrial, infrastructure, renewable energy, transmission, EPC, or construction projects.
- Preference for candidates having experience in solar, wind, transmission line, substation, or heavy equipment operations.
- Experience in contractor workforce management and site safety supervision preferred.
Education Qualification:
- Graduation in industrial safety/fire safety (or) Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from a State Government recognized institute.
- Additional safety related certifications will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct HSE inductions for contractor and sub-contractor workers to promote a safe working culture at site.
- Identify and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, hazards, and near-miss incidents at the workplace and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Support implementation and periodic review of HSE documents such as:
- HIRA / Risk Assessments
- Method Statements
- Emergency Response Plans
- Waste Management Records
- SOPs and Safety Procedures
- Share safety learnings and awareness through:
- Toolbox Talks (TBT)
- Daily / weekly safety meetings
- Safety campaigns and awareness programs
- Assist in organizing HSE committee meetings, recording MOM, and following up for closure of action points.
- Maintain HSE MIS data, records, inspection reports, training records, and assist in preparation of monthly HSE reports and presentations.
- Ensure proper usage and compliance of mandatory PPEs, tools, tackles, and safety equipment by all employees and contractor workers at site.
- Support implementation of HSE training calendar and coordinate safety training sessions for employees and contractors.
- Assist in incident reporting and investigation, including data collection, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation/closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), Toolbox Talks (TBT), LOTO, confined space entry, hot work, and other critical safety procedures.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and safety observations to identify hazards and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure proper waste collection, segregation, storage, transportation, and disposal as per applicable regulatory and environmental compliance requirements.
- Support environmental compliance activities including:
- Spill control
- Housekeeping inspections
- Dust/noise control measures
- Waste management compliance
- Assist in preparing site HSE performance reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Support conducting mock drills and emergency preparedness activities and ensure worker awareness regarding emergency response procedures.
- Assist in maintaining and updating legal compliance registers and statutory records related to HSE requirements.
- Monitor compliance related to:
- Work at Height (WAH)
- Electrical Safety
- Crane & Lifting Operations
- Excavation Safety
- Temporary Electrical Installations
- Support safe movement and operation of heavy vehicles, cranes, trailers, hydras, forklifts, and material handling equipment at site.
- Assist during internal audits, client audits, and statutory inspections and support timely closure of audit observations.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure implementation of company HSE standards and regulatory compliance across all project activities.
