Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Health Officer based in Hong Kong SAR, with the option to work remotely on some occasions. The Health Officer will oversee workplace health initiatives, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and promote community health and wellness programs. Responsibilities will also include advising on occupational health practices and implementing safety measures specific to workplace and construction environments.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Occupational Health and Community Health practices
- Proficiency in implementing and managing Workplace Safety and Construction Safety protocols
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to train and engage with diverse audiences
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop health and safety strategies
- Familiarity with local health regulations and compliance standards
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Relevant certifications in health and safety are a plus
- A background or degree in public health, occupational health, or related fields is preferred
