Role Description
The Health Insurance Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves engaging with prospective and existing clients to understand their health insurance needs, presenting suitable products, and explaining coverage, benefits, and policy terms in clear, accessible language. The specialist will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including lead generation, follow-ups, policy proposals, and closing sales, while coordinating with internal teams and insurance partners. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records in the CRM, responding to client queries, offering post-sale support, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. The role also includes contributing to sales targets, participating in training sessions, and staying updated on new health insurance products and market trends.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Health Insurance, with the ability to match client needs to appropriate products.
- Knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage practices, including policy structures, underwriting basics, and regulatory norms.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering responsive, empathetic support.
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with clear spoken and written English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Prior experience in health insurance, financial services, or a related sales role preferred.
- Comfort working with CRM tools and basic office software for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, meet performance targets, and collaborate within a diverse, inclusive team environment.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; professional certifications in insurance or finance are a plus.
